Double Play Community Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization proudly serving Lewis County, New York. Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for all residents by providing premier facilities, inclusive programs, and dedicated staff that meet the diverse needs of our community.

At Double Play, we believe movement is essential to a healthy life. Our goal is to create “something for everyone” by offering opportunities to stay active, engaged, and inspired.
Through our fitness center, group classes, and experienced trainers, we strive to promote healthy habits, provide nutrition education, and introduce new ways to stay active. With the addition of sports fields and team programming, we aim to bring people together through athletics and shared experiences.

Our Vision
Our vision is to create a unified, all-inclusive community facility that brings together fitness, youth and teen programming, senior services, and enrichment opportunities under one roof.
As we continue to grow, we aspire to expand our offerings to include classrooms, a multi-purpose field, therapy offices, a full kitchen, and dedicated spaces for dance, art, and more.

Code of Conduct
At Double Play Community Center, we are committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment for all members and guests.
We expect everyone to follow basic standards of conduct rooted in common sense, respect, and consideration for others. The safety and well-being of our community is our highest priority.
Double Play reserves the right to deny access or membership to individuals whose behavior or history may compromise the safety or integrity of our programs and facilities. Policies are subject to change, with interpretation and enforcement determined by our Board of Directors.
Sportsmanship Pledge
It’s everyone’s responsibility.
We are dedicated to providing a safe, positive, and enjoyable environment at all events and programs.
Abusive or disrespectful behavior toward players, coaches, officials, or spectators will not be tolerated. We ask all participants and attendees to lead with positivity, respect, and integrity while striving for their best performance.
Center Policies
To protect our community, individuals engaging in prohibited behavior may face the following actions:
Removal from the facility
Suspension of up to one year
Suspension from participation in programs and events
Termination of membership, privileges, or employment
Alcohol, Drug & Tobacco Policy
Double Play Community Center promotes healthy lifestyles. The use or possession of alcohol, drugs, or tobacco is not permitted on our grounds or during programs.
Anyone suspected of being under the influence will be asked to leave the property immediately.
